Jermon Developments Receives Top Award in Dublin

Northern Ireland headquartered property company, Jermon Developments, has been presented with the coveted title of ‘Northern Ireland Commercial Developer of the Year’ at the Irish Property Awards which were held in Dublin, 30 November.

The awards, which are organised by the UK and Ireland’s leading property publication, Property Week, were attended by over 1200 of the island’s most influential property people and held in the Burlington Hotel.

Peter Dolan, Managing Director of Jermon said: “It’s been a busy year in the growth of Jermon and this award is very welcome as it recognises that hard work and the effort we are making to deliver high quality developments on the ground. This year we have expanded into new markets for Jermon in both Scotland and Poland and we expect 2007 to deliver a number of new milestones for our company.

“It is a privilege to receive this award as it is judged by a highly respected panel of property experts from across the island and to be recognised by that group is a great honour for Jermon.

“We are grateful also to Property Week for its continued commitment to the Irish market and Irish property companies, many of which are making a very impact in Britain, continental Europe and further afield.”

This year, Jermon received planning permission for its redevelopment of Springhill Shopping Centre in Bangor, Northern Ireland and its extension and re-furbishment of Donegall Arcade in Central Belfast, to be renamed The Gallery. Jermon also completed the purchase of two further major development opportunities at the Artisan Centre in Dumbarton, Scotland and a proposed retail park in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Jermon also conducted a number of investment transactions, including the purchase of two retail buildings on High Street, Belfast.
